Your locally grown, forward-thinking voice
John Bruce was born and raised in Melbourne and has lived in District 4 for nine years. He’s spent eight years managing high-stakes proposals worth tens of millions of dollars for a Fortune 5 company, and he’s bringing that same rigor to City Hall.
He’s not running for the clout or the money: 100% of his council salary goes to Melbourne nonprofits, and his weekends go to the Indian River Lagoon.

Clean streets, working services and a forward-thinking budget.

The Lagoon
The lagoon is infrastructure. Fund it like infrastructure.
The Indian River Lagoon is why people move here, fish here and buy houses here. When it dies, property values follow. Melbourne has done more for lagoon health than most cities on this water, and I’ll keep it that way.
